No. Sponsors never create an account, remember a password, or log in. You send them a single magic link and they land on a portal page branded to your publication where they upload their logo, banner, sponsor copy, and tracking URL. They can watch their deal status update in real time.

KeelStack is platform-agnostic. It works with Substack, Ghost, Kit (ConvertKit), Beehiiv, and any podcast host — because it’s the sponsor operations layer, not a publishing tool. You paste your campaign performance from a CSV and KeelStack handles the sponsor-facing reports and renewals.

You start a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. You get the Pro tier’s full working limits — 25 sponsors, 50 invoices a month, 2 GB storage, custom reminder cadences — and can add real sponsors, send real portal links, and generate real reports. If it’s not for you, do nothing and the trial simply ends — no charge. Your workspace stays read-only for a grace period so you can export your data or pick a plan, after which it’s deleted or anonymized (except for narrow tax and security records we’re legally required to keep).

Yes. You can cancel from your billing settings in two clicks — no email, no support ticket, no exit call. Your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and after that your workspace becomes read-only for a grace period so you can export your sponsors and invoices as CSV, or everything as JSON. You can also permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. After the grace period, your data is deleted or anonymized (except narrow legal/tax/security records) — see our Privacy Policy for the full retention schedule.

No, never. KeelStack charges a flat monthly or annual subscription fee and takes 0% of your sponsorship revenue. Unlike sponsor marketplaces that take 5–15% per deal, what you earn from your sponsors stays entirely yours — one saved renewal more than pays for a year.

We operate a no-refund policy on paid subscriptions. The honest reason: KeelStack is solo-founded and self-funded, and our Merchant of Record (Dodo Payments) charges a non-refundable fee on every transaction — including refunds. A refund is a net loss for us, not a return to neutral, and building that loss into everyone’s price isn’t fair to the customers who stay. That’s exactly why the trial is free and requires no credit card — so you can confirm the product fits before you pay. We do honor every refund right that local law makes non-waivable (EU/UK statutory withdrawal, Indian consumer-protection rights, verified billing errors, and extended outages). Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our Merchant of Record. That means Dodo Payments — not KeelStack — is the seller of record for tax and payment-compliance purposes, and handles VAT/GST/sales-tax collection and remittance in each jurisdiction. KeelStack remains the provider of the Service itself. We never store your full card number — cardholder data is handled entirely by Dodo Payments under its own PCI-DSS compliance.

Yes. All traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, every query is isolated per account, and sponsor portal links are single-use, scoped to a single sponsor, and expire within 24 hours; opening one starts a separate, limited portal session on the sponsor’s browser. We never sell your data, and we don’t share it with third parties for their own purposes. We do use a small set of vetted subprocessors to operate the service — Dodo Payments (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Neon (database), Resend (email delivery), PostHog (product analytics), and Sentry (error monitoring) — each under contract and processing data only on our behalf. The full list is in our Privacy Policy. You can export or permanently delete your data at any time from your account settings.

Depending on where you live, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. We honor GDPR (EU/EEA/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India). To exercise any right, email privacy@keelstack.me with your account email and the right you want to exercise — we’ll verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by your local law (generally 30–45 days).

KeelStack is built for solo creators and their sponsors, and is intended for business use. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. Sponsors invited via a magic-link Portal do not create an account and are not subject to the same account-creation eligibility, but the Service is not directed to individuals under 18.

KeelStack is operated from Rajasthan, India, and our Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Rajasthan, India — subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract (for example, certain EU/UK statutory consumer rights).
